About:

History: Born and raised in Belleville, Kansas, Tabitha is quite the farm girl. Originally, she lived in town with her parents, who both worked as social workers for the state. They were middle-class, and lived rather comfortably; a small house on the outskirts of town was all they needed to be happy. Unfortunately, when Tabitha was about five years old, her mother got into a car wreck on the way home from work one day, and was in critical condition for hours before passing away mid-surgery. Tabitha’s once-strong father was hit hard by his wife’s death, and soon determined that he couldn’t provide the proper environment for Tabitha to grow up in. A few months later, Tabitha was sent to live with her mother’s parents on a farm about 40 miles away, in the middle of nowhere. From that point on, she was raised by her grandparents, not hearing from her father again, apart from sporadic calls wishing her a drunken happy birthday.

Despite her unfortunate past, Tabitha was always hopeful for her future. She could barely remember her parents, and loved her zany grandparents – they were her real family, and Tabitha was always happy to do whatever they asked. Her grandparents were upper-middle class, making their living by selling their produce in town and to local businesses, though Tabitha suspected they had saved up quite a bit of money from their previous jobs before becoming strictly farmers. Despite their understanding natures, her grandparents were like most elderly folk nowadays – Tabitha always viewed them very political, and against most modern inventions like my own grandparents. As such, Tabitha generally took everything they said with a grain of salt and kept much to herself. She was homeschooled, and most of her interaction with those her age came from the internet, which she managed to convince her grandparents into getting after much prodding. She did have one real-to-life friend, a boy her age named Mathieux from Canada. His parents knew Tabitha's grandparents well, and whenever they happened to be visiting the US, Math would help Tabitha out with her chores around the farm and offer her company, though he didn't speak much English.

After meeting her digimon partner, Tabitha spent her savings (previously saved up from both working on local forms and from her mother’s inheritance) to hire help for her grandparents’ farm and moved to Japan to be part of The Lune. She definitely enjoys the change of pace of living in a big city. Aside from ditching her overalls and pitchfork, Tabitha has also attempted to shed her former loner nature, and tends to spazz over the new people she meets _{and god help them if they are a cute boy because Kansas has none of those} .


Personality: Tabitha can sometimes be described as a bit of a loon, though she means well. She is always polite and generally quite happy, though easily distracted by anything you wouldn’t find on a farm (it kind of comes that way when you lived in Kansas most of your life). Occasionally she’s ditzy enough to be distracted by farm stuff, too. Despite her apparent ADD, Tabitha does have a serious and intelligent side, and often leaves those close to her (including her digimon partner) wondering exactly how much of that ditziness is feigned just to entertain those around her.


Likes: Animals/digimon, cities, new people, nature, rocks, leaves, dirt, feathers, shiny things, you, _{ooh look a bird}


Dislikes: Meanness, worry-warts, serious people, lemons. D: And being called “Tabbi” by anyone she doesn’t absolutely love. Currently, only Floximon can get away with it.


Tabitha met her digital partner one day when she was mucking out horse stalls in the family’s large barn. Distracted by her task at hand and her noisy thoughts, she didn’t hear Fliimon’s sniffling until she was standing directly below the bat-like digimon, surprising them both and causing Fliimon to fall off her perch. Reacting quickly for the first time in her life, Tabitha managed to catch the falling creature, and the moment they touched, a light flash of golden light announced the formation of a small golden crystal in Tabitha’s hand – the digital shard of hope. After a bit of pestering, Fliimon admitted that the reason she’d been crying before was because she’d become lost in the real world, unable to find the child she was drawn to to become partners with, so she’d been flying around in circles for hours. _{Stupid Kansas and its ruralness.}

After becoming partners, Tabitha became very protective of the in-training Fliimon, due to the creature’s timid nature. Despite this, Fliimon, especially in her rookie form (Floximon), watches out for Tabitha. Due to Tabitha’s rural-grown nature, she is a bit naïve and tends to be too trusting. If anything would ever attempt to harm her dearest “Tabbi-chan,” Floximon would show no mercy in protecting her partner.



Digimon Partner:

Fliimon (from “flee”)

In-Training

As Fliimon, Tabitha’s partner is very shy and timid, like a little child. She speaks very quietly and is very polite, though she prefers to speak only with her “Tabbi-chan,” hiding behind her when Fliimon DOES choose to speak. She also has poor eyesight probably due to the belt buckle over her eyes.

Attack:
Boom Bubble


Floximon (from “flying fox” bats)

Rookie

As Floximon, she gains a bit more confidence. Still speaking lightly, Floximon is highly protective of Tabitha and tends to keep a (closed) eye on those that are around her (her eyes never open; she has sensors that she uses as a sort of echolocation/scanning system). She is rather untrusting and pessimistic, balancing Tabitha’s total openness and hopefulness with realism. Only really relaxes and lightens up when around Tabitha.

Attacks:
Lavender Wind: flaps wings and blows purple shards of energy at foe

Wing hit: smacks foe with a wing

Werefloximon (obvious name )

Champion

In her champion form, Werefloximon is highly protective of Tabbi and has shed her inhibitions to fight. She remains polite and has shed her fear of speaking, but she tends to still only trust her partner.

Attacks:
Lavender Gale: flaps wings and blows large, glass-like shards of purple energy at foe

Wing slash: cuts foe with a sharp-edged wing


Aceromon (from “Acerodon,” the genus for flying fox bats)

Ultimate

As the Ultimate Aceromon, Tabitha’s partner digimon struggles a bit with her image, seeing herself as a dark digimon. Feeling as though she poorly represents the shard of hope, Aceromon tends to harness this restless energy and use it when fighting, becoming rather merciless. Tabitha feels as though her Golden Light technique should prove that Aceromon is a good representative of hope.

Attacks:
Shadow Fire: Shoots an orb of purple flame-like energy at the foe.

Wing Slash: cuts foe with a sharp-edged wing

Golden light: a golden aura encases Aceromon, and some HP is healed.



Chiropterramon (from “Chiroptera,” the order name for flying foxes + “terror”)

Mega

Having overcome her reservations as Aceromon, Chiropterramon understands that even when facing fear and death, there is hope, and that’s what she represents. Eternally calm and quick-thinking, Chiropterramon will do anything to protect not only her partner but anyone that she is capable of helping (though Tabbi will always come first). Despite her epiphany, Terra (as Tabitha calls her in this form) tends to feel a little down when any of her friends act afraid of her in this form.

Attacks:
Gate of Shadows : Opens a gate, releasing a torrent of dark purple energy at the foe.

Nightmare Slash: A slash with claws that disrupts digital information, temporarily paralyzing the foe.

Golden light: a golden aura encases Chiropterramon, and some HP is healed.</sub>
